Submission Preparation Checklist
- Have you checked the journal’s aims and scope?
- Have you defined the scope of your article?
- Did you use multiple search engines to find sources to evaluate?
- Have you written a descriptive title and abstract using keywords?
- Did you follow the AJMS standard template?
- Have you presented a critical discussion?
- Have you included future suggestions for research in your conclusion?
- Have you asked a friend / peer to do a final spell and grammar check?
- Have you done plagiarism check? Must be less than 30% similarity index.
- The submission has not been previously published.
Copyright Notice
Transfer Of Copyright Agreement (TOCA)
This agreement must be signed and returned to ALAM Journal of Maritime Studies (AJMS) before the manuscript can be considered for publication. The transfer of copyright from author to Chief - Editor must be clearly stated to enable the publisher to assure maximum dissemination of the author’s work. Therefore, the following agreement, executed and signed by the author, is required with each manuscript submission.
Conditions of Publication
- All proprietary rights other than copyright, such as patent rights.
- The right to make further copies of all or part of the published article for my use in classroom teaching.
- The right to reuse all or part of this material in a compilation of my/our own works or in a textbook of which I/we am/are the author(s).
- The right to make copies of the published work for internal distribution within the institution that employs me.
